Is there pre-paid taxi counter inside Shamshabad airport Hyderabad?
I would like to carry four bags from new airport to Osmania University Hyderabad. Any pre-paid taxi counter inside? any idea how much it costs approximately for the rented vehicle? Please advise me.
There will be certainly a prepaid taxi counter as it is a basic amenity. But it may likely to become a "post paid taxi" of the outside shamshabad air port after getting into it!!
The last time I went to the airport which was about 2 weeks back there were no counters, but maybe they've popped up now. Try keeping the phone numbers of cab services handy, you can just call up their number and they instantly get a cab ready for you in 10 mins max.
For the rented vehicle, from the airport to OU is a pretty long distance, and it might cost you around 600+-50 rupees for a large cab, and for a smaller cab it might cost lesser, say another 100 rupees. Rates also vary according to the time of the day.
