DEMERITS-

Narrow roads and traffic congestin

Merits are,its clean and It city and Demerits are costly and traffic.

Merits--Pleasant climate, many gardens & lakes,delicious veg food @ affordable prices.
Demerits --Laziest possible shop keepers, very bad for asthama patients, lack of convenient public transport, originally resident people rather conservative.

Costly

Merits:
Good Weather.
IT and BPO.
Lots of places to hang around (like M.G. Road, Brigade Road, Jayanagar, Koramangala, Commercial Street etc.
Good-looking guys and girls (next to Delhi and Mumbai).

Demerits:
Bad Roads.
Improper public transport.
Difference between the above mentioned places and other places in the periphery. (BMP and CMC areas).
Garbage.
(As far as I am concerned, I feel that all the cities in India have the above mentioned problems). So, we need to weigh the merits and demerits properly.

Cosmopolitan Place so you can get along with Hindi,Tamil,KAnanda or even English
Nice decent english climate
Loads of shopping mallls and eataries where u can eat food from rs5 to 500
If u have the money lovey apartments with the best facilities os u dont need to leave your complex
If u are a software or BPO or medical transcriptionist professional then job oppourtunities are dime a dozen.
If u are a movie buff then movie tickets cost you anything fromRs50 to 650/-
If you are abooklover then fantastic book stores

I could go on forever

Demirits
Terrible roads
Disgusting traffic jams
Pollution very high and rising
Auto drivers are terrors
Public Transport pathetic

But given a chance i would never leave the city its has its own unique homly charm

it is a beautiful place with all modern facilities, gardens and having historical back ground. opportunities for jobs are plenty. life will be good. but it is a concrete jungle and it is not as beautiful as some years back.
