Mumbai - I salute the city. It always defies you, and bounces back, how many of you really like the city?

Bomb blasts, floods, bad politicians, and yet the cityfolk survive and help each other.

Good and High spirits of the Mumbaikars will be their strong inner strength. The bad experiences would make them learn and stand united in the hour.

Learning to help each other besides oneself. Weed out the undesirable elements from public life. Commit oneself for common cause and put in the best efforts within one's abilities. Struggle is hard and long, yet results would be promising.

I do not like Mumbai..... I love it. Nothing can keep it down bomb blasts, floods, the hindu- muslim riots or anything people are always more than willing to help. And it's termed the no 1 rudest city in the world by reader's digest, yeah right what do they know?

We love this city - its run by the common man - last one week has been horrendous - 3 days we had the monsoon floods, then a Bandh by shiv Sena and now this blast -

In fact we saw no policemen or the govt anywhere near help - it was strangers helping strangers - hats off to them - I guess we need to send a a days Video tapes and newspaper reports to Readers Digest Editor who called this city rude. **** them - they should have seen how people were standing on the roads till the wee hours offering water and snacks to commuters who were stranded at stations and the highways.

This city will overcome everything - today morning i took the train - there was disgust - in every ones faces - but life to go ahead.

I think this city has a magic , it does not require politicians nor a governance - or the cops - there a million of people who are always there to help everyone.

Salaam Mumbai

i completely agree... floods or bomb blasts mumbai is back to normal in no time! and i think mumbaikars rock! it was in the newspaper tht mumbai is the rudest city... but in times of need mumbai is united and the local ppl are ever ready to help!! ... during last years flood..it was the common ppl who helped every one out..so many volunteers guiding everyone out of the water.. even after the bomb blast it was the local ppl who helped the victims... so many ppl providing water and food to them..and the next day the western railway trains were working and most of them were as packed as ever... i love the "never say die" attitude of mumbaikars.. we believe in " life goes on and so must we" mumbai bounces back veryyy fast... i love mumbai! and am proud of being a mumbaikar! jai hind!

The sprit of Bombay is approximately the best in the world at such times. The phrase ‘Life goes on’ cannot be more aptly explained than in Bombay. Any disaster local, natural or multinational has been and no matter what happens will be always taken in the stride.

Nothing in Bombay is impossible, especially the impossible. So like you even I would like to salute the sprit of this island.

I love Bombay…

zzzz..
i myself am an aligarian but i too salute mumbai for resurfacin' from the terrible tragidies that hav occured there

I'm in India for almost a few years and Indians are amazing. They are great and despite caste, creed and religion, they are out to help. Mumbaikars have proved it. Hats off u people. It's one of the places in the world rich in human values. I'm really impressed.
Mumbaikars still live despite the difficulties they encounter and that shows how people are bold and can handle any terror attack be it related to climatic conditions or others.
Well done people.BRAVO
