Mumbai is really interesting because there is SO much wealth, with skyscrapers and malls and hotels...but it is all juxtaposed by slums and extreme poverty. For example, at the base of 5 Star Hotels like the Oberoi and Taj, there are crippled beggars picking through garbage and makeshift tent houses underneath the bridges and highways. |
