Mumbai to Goa by Bus/Train/Car?

which station to get down at ? which is the best train...what if i take volvo specially the overnight one to save time....how much if i book a cab to reach Goa ?

best option is Konkan rail. Since its one of the marvels of the Indian railway, also you can have a breathtaking scenario and lots of tunnels.

Really awesome.

Give a try once. u will opt for it.

The best way to enjoy the scenic beauty of the coastal Goa is to travel by day in bus or cab, though travel time depends on the driving ability of the cab driver but the bus reaches on time. For other details U contact " Just Dial Tele.No. 39999999 " give them ur requirements they would be able to guide & help U.

please take a konkan railway train which is the most convinient mode of travel. There are many trains like netravati konkankanya janshatabdi and some more and please get down at madgaon. Other option is to take a volvo but journey is not overnight but takes 18 hours at least try rail that is the best

If I were you, I'd take the road. Nothing like driving along the Konkan coast!

We've done the Konkan by road and its beautiful!

You could also spend a night in Murud and Alibaug and enjoy the beaches there and then proceed towards goa.
