My Indian friend said i was like an Indian woman. What does that mean?
Ok, i was talking to him at school and he said that i was like an Indian (like india) woman. I don't really remember where that came from but, I want to know what exactly does that mean. I mean I'm asian. And if I act like one how would that be? Do you think that he said that as a complamint? Please answer.
It depends on the context. He could mean that you are modest, demure, or conservative which many women outwardly are ( not necessarily behind closed doors). He could also mean that you like to save money, which parts of the Indian culture are known for. Another meaning could be that you like to give advice or tell people what to do, again which is a common trait with Indian women. I would need to know the context to tell you more.
