Goa is a great state to visit for holidays. Ofcourse as usual you have to observe certain behavioural codes and follow certain rules to not attract any untoward incidents while you holiday there.

Goa boasts beautiful, ancient temples and churches, lots of serene greenery, lots of beaches full of silvery sands and happy,holidaying tourists in all seasons. The atmosphere is great.

About money matters : I do not know how many days you will be staying there, about meals, travel options, from where you will be starting etc. When so many things are not known, how could I comment on money matters? But 5000 seems about normal to me if you are near Mumbai / Pune etc.

Caution : whenever you are near seashores, do not venture into seas. Enjoy the views from shores only. The seas are too volatile and rough there most of the times. Do not accept any eatables ( food / drinks) from anybody you don't know. Be in the group only - do not venture on your own. Beware of anything you are not comfortable with.

its a good place.................to enjoy ur holidays...........if u don't want to travel a lot,then its a nice place........... quite peaceful.

Goa is nice place.

Rs.5000 for 7 days sound resonable.
A good room will cost Rs.700 per day for two.

Don;t forget the sunset cruising at Panjim. Cost Rs.150 for an hour - live entertianemnt and dancing opportunity for all.

Goa is excellent place to hang around and enjoy. It is best tourist spot with lot beaches, portuguese architectural and good food. If Rs 5000/- is not a contraint, please go . Alternatively ask your entire family to go these holidays.
