The cheapest way to go to Andaman is by boat - you can get one from Chennai or Kolkata.

please book a ticket in BUNK CLASS of SHIP from chennai or calcultta or vishakapattinam, it cost about approximately Rs. 1200.

it will take 30 hours journey.
