Question on I proposed india itinerary?

I am thinking of visiting India sometime in the next couple of years and I have the following itiererary so far can someone tell me if it is ok or if it would benefit from changes

Arrive in Delhi and spend 2 days there
Travel to agra and spend 2 days full days there

Travel to varanasi and spend 2 days there
Travel to jaipur and spend 2 days there
Travel to ajmar and spend 2 days there
Travel to udaipur and spend 2 days there
Travel to Jodhpur and spend 2 days there
Travel to jaislermer and spend 2 days there
Travel to delhi 2 days there

Leave
Total of 27 days

If someone can check it or make suggestions for improvement I’d be grateful.
If necessary I can probably manage a few extra days

Hi I think you may be hard pressed to cover your itinerary the milage it pretty high over all Make sure you do not go to the Taj on a Friday they are closed. Stay on the edge of Town in Agra Hotel Atithi is pleasant with a pool and restaurant on site. Change your money at Forex they seem good all over India. Could I suggest you visit Ranthambhore to see the Tigers while in Rajastan. Tiger Moon is a good place to stay and is on the internet. Remember depending on the time of year Rajastan can be rather cold in the mornings. A great Hotel to stay at in Jaipur is Hotel Meghniwas in Sawai Jai Sing Highway Jaipur. You will love India have a great Trip.

Visite locations in this order
1. Delhi to Jaisalmer = 736 km
2. Jaisalmer to Jodhpur = 335 km
3. Jodhpur to Udaipur = 317 km
4. Udaipur to Ajmer = 250km
5. Ajmer to Jaipur = 205 km
6. Jaipur to Agra = 218 km (Agra, Fatehpur, Mathura, Vrindavan :: 3 days)
7. Agra to Varanasi = 625 km
8. Varanasi to Kolkata = 643 km
9. Kolkata to Delhi = 1436 km

All distances mentioned are shotest distant by road. All there places have airports and connecting flight, except Delhi to Jaisalmer, which you would require to go via Jaipur.

Why don't you include Kolkata in your itinerary. A India trip without visiting Kolkata is a shame.
