Hi, can somebody tell me the cheapest way to rent a car in hyderabad india. I am in texas right now but I want to rent a car for a month for my parents visit to india.
1. Rent a self drive car with Hertz. Costs more and you will be hassled by driving in the mad traffic.
2. Rent a call taxi. You can call the operators just an hour before you head out. You will be billed per km. Costs approx Rs12-15/km. Lots of operators like City cabs/meru, etc..

3. Hire a stay taxi. Normal charges are 4hrs/40kms/Rs400 or 8hrs/80kms/Rs800. Extra km Rs8 and extra hour Rs30.

its good that you want to rent a car. when u are earning in dollars why are you botherred about renting a cheap car. in my knowledge in US if u want to rent a car u have to shell out atleast$200, then for the same service if you have to pay $100 per day in India[its the maximum], why are you loking out for a cheap alternative.
Try to add your wealth to indian economy[ definitely you would have studied in some govt school in India- try to repay.
