Don't salute him. The chief minister came all along the way to pay respect. He is not a single man. He represents all people in kerala. is this the way to respect a chief minister ? He turned all the keral people. The chief minister not came there to shed a few drop of tears. it is a proud to the family of the deceased. The said unnikrishnan lost all his respects. it is our culture and tradition to welcome anyone who is at our doorsteps. is he forget this? Even we say politely to a begger if he asks for any food. is it our culture to turn away anyone who comes to our doorsteps ? is it our tradition ? you can argue with him. you can make quarrel with him. you can say what you are having in your heart with him. no problem, but turning away, shouting with him to go is not decent and to my view he is not a father to a worthy son. His behavior show that as if the hon chief minister himself shooted his son maj sandeep. i don't understand the humanity. where is the humanity gone ? are we animals ? we are humans. what will the others think about us ? are we a stone aged people ? is his behavior bring him respect and proud ? i am not an animal, and i understand his sorrow. when something happens, anyone will come for extending to share their sorrow, i already stated that even if an enemy comes it is our culture i mean human culture to extend co-operation. He threw away all and it is worst your salute. mind it, that no one will come to him and no one will help him and finally, it is not a disrespect to a chief minister, it is a disrespect to himself. so, i salute the chief minister who calmly returned understanding the situation. please understand the person who returned calmly with heavy heart.
This is an example. if anything happens in future and don't write articles, don't feel much if any minister or chief minister, or officials not coming to share sorrows. They may get fear seeing this incident.i will certainly appreciate if you salute for the right. ok? |

Rajaram.. i understand the position of mr. unnikrishnan. He is deeply saddened, but it is the loss to the nation too. The kerala chief minister is not an individual person. He is representing his state and want to share the sad with his father. it is a good approach. when unnikrishnan was in sad, it is natural for all people to console him and the kerala chief minister is one among them. what are all in his mind, mr. unnikrishnan is having chances to inform the chief minister. Giving respect to the maj sandeep, he chose to see mr unnikrishnan. we, indians whatever may be the differences with anyone, it is the culture of us to go and share sad and enquiring death. i don't want to teach you, since you also know it. one did not expect to speak or to accept his grief, but by tunrning away and shouting before him is not nice. i am surprised on seeing his action in television and in newspapers, and why he chose this way is not known. we have to tell mr unnikrishnan to feel for his action, instead we should not support him or salute him. it is our tradition to welcome anyone whoever he may be when he comes to our home. i don't want mr unnikrishnan to welcome him, but by turning away is not correct as per my personal view. Do you think all the persons who attended his house shed a real tears or crocodile tears? personally, the chief minister is not an enemy to mr unnikrishnan. i don't want to blame or finding fault with mr unnikrishnan, since he is so much affected. i will take it sportively because he is much pained, but mr. unnikrishnan himself not like the salute. i am telling in general, and it is you decide what is correct and what is not correct. |

Mr. Unnikrishnan is correct.
All Kerala politicians make fun of the incident. that's why he refused to talk to Mr. Kerala CM.
If they are relay caring he might have sent a representative on the day of funeral. Or even made a simple telephone call. After all the Kerala TV channels started saying no one representation from Kerala for Major Unnikrishnan, where the defence Minister is hailing from. Then these politicians started all the drama. Now anyone tell me where is our Mr Unnikrishnan wrong?
I salute him. |

I agree with you.
Every time when some people die in terrorist attack, these politicians engage into a Competition to show 'sympathy' than trying to stop such incidents. THAT'S HYPOCRISY ! |

no, we should accept his behaviour as a result of loss of his son,
he needs proper sincere emotional support. we should stand with him in these times of distress.
this is not the time of criticism either constructive or destructive. |

Beyond a doubt. I do. Salutes to Mr. Unnikrishnan. We are as proud of Mr. Unnikrishnan as we are of his great son. My message to Mr. Unnikrishnan is " The entire nation stands by you. Mr. Unnikrishnan you have millions of sons and daughters now. Every young Indian today would be proud of a father like you".
As for the Kerala Chief Minister and his other counterparts they deserve worse treatment. Who the hell he thinks he is to deserve to be treated well. The rascal is feeling hurt by Mr. Unnikrishnan's behaviour. Such a huge EGO for doing nothing for the nation and showing no respect for the hurt father of the national hero. The Damned CM deserves worse. These politicians deserve to be shot publicly. |

What is done by Mr.Unnikrishnan is what the selfish politicians deserve. Hope these politicians will understand the feelings of the voters. I salute Mr. Unnikrishnan. |

Ofcourse Mr Unnikrishnan's gesture was shocking. He did what a father would do at the loss of his son.
But how many times have we seen these blood sucking politicians go to a victims house and GENUINELY consoling the family? Where was the CM at the funeral? Where were his Govt's representatives? If his visit to Mr Unnikrishnan's house was really genuine, he could have done so without the presence of the media/cameras! I agree that if a CM decides to pay condolences to a victims family, the media follows his entourage. Again, if this was a genuine effort by the Kerala CM, he would understand the nature of his visit and request/order the media not to cover this episode. IT IS SO CLEAR HE WANTED TO BE ON THE CAMERA! IT IS SO CLEAR HE WANTED PEOPLE TO SEE HIM THERE! IT IS SO CLEAR THAT HE WAS DOING IT FOR THE POLITICAL MILEAGE!!!!!!!! IT IS SO CLEAR INDIA IS NO WAY ON THE WAY TO BECOME A SUPERPOWER, WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS!

Dear Mr Unnikrishnan , It was not fair that u behave to kerala CM in this way .We can understand ur mentality but u shud maintain calm since CM is the representative of people of kerala so its an insult to people of kerala .You dont have manners?? You dont know whats the culture of India ??? Its 's wish to attend the function and might be some other un avoidable reason he cant reach there in time but the very next day he reached ur house .

Being an person who brought up a brave son who sacrificed his life to save his motherland , Unikrishnan ( Senior) behaved properly . VS and Kodiery went to Bangalore just because the Media reports forced them to do so , not because of their respect to the Hero who died . I am ashamed to be ruled by incompetent politicians , who do not even have basic education , and do not know how to behave at situations like this .
You have our full support Mr.Unnikrishnan .
Maj .Sandeep will live in our hearts for ever |

We Salute Major Unnikrishnan. He has done a great job for this Mother India. We are proud to have such son for Mother India.
When will our politicians learn to be sincere to this country? Do they believe and think at least once, that they too belong this country?
Yes, a great decision taken by Major Unnikrishnan parents as deserved by politicians.
I am sure we all will dump these politicians for saving our motherland selflessly . |

we live in a democratic country and no one has the right to infringe upon the fundamental rights of a citizen, however powerful he may be,The chief minister or for the matter any powerful politician is not used to such treatment because they consider common citizens as their slaves. It is high time the chief minister apologises to Mr Unnikrishnan, an example has been set and now it is for the others to follow, |
