Should i visit Kashmir or south India? |
i want to spend my holidays from 5th june onwards, but i can't decide about the place where i want to travel.
I've Kashmirfor awesome mountain area) and south Indian*to enjoy monsoon rains) in my mind. I'm living here in north India. Can anyone suggest me which is the best place right now to spend good holidays.

in my opinion, south India is best, there is risk of ur life in Kashmir 'coz recently militants attacked on tourist so i prefer to visit south India for its natural beauty as well |

Kashmir is ten times more beautiful than South India will ever be. I'm not trying to be mean, but that is my personal preference and I may be a bit biased to North India since I'm Punjabi.
However, Kashmir does have a lot of terrorist activity in the area. Even tourists can sometimes come under attack. If you want to be completely safe, visit South India. If you're willing to take the risk, check out Kashmir. Really it depends on where you visist in Kashmir, but you should ask your booking agent or someone from Kashmir where the safe areas are and where you shouldn't go. |

spent of half your vacation in kashmir then fly to southindia...hei let kerala be the last place you visit..saving best to the last |

Kashmir is an awesome place, as you know. And so is south India. However, Monsoon has reached the south with a vengence. There's a cyclone weather warning in Kerala. Parts of Karnataka, and Maharashtra are flooded already. Trains, and flights are disrupted. Therefore, at this point of time, it is not advisable to go south. You should visit south in September, to enjoy the rain.
So, plan a trip to Kashmir. And 5th June is just round the corner... Have a great holiday! |
