incorrect statement.
Smoking is not prohibited in any state of India.
Its prohibited only at government offices, hospitals, public transport, public places like gardens, temples and monuments and educational institutions.
For your information smoking is banned in these places in all civilized countries of the world.
If someone personally at his home wishes to smoke tobacco and shorten his lifespan, its his own personal choice. |

A blessing in disguise. Smoking is prohibited in public places and Government offices.
People who overrule were fined on the spot.

Prohibited only in public places . I do not smoke , i am very much happy that people are not smoking in Trains and Airport surroundings , even i noticed that ppl stopped smoking in public places like amusement parks , Hospitals which is a good sign. |
