South is far developed than North but North is catching up at a snails pace.North mainly aryan race and south dravidians,south is better than north in education,health,economy.....etc...Both have quite big difference but both coexist side by side.Isnt it amazing?

For your info, I am from the north!, You want good food, scenic mountains, English speaking people to help, go North, However, Architecture, of the Southern temples is mind boggling. But the Food and English,..............well my sister, didn't like it just for that. SHE IS A SPOILT BRAT, JUST UNTIL LAST YEAR SHE THOUGHT THERE WERE ONLY POOR PEOPLE, BULLCARTS, AND SNAKES IN INDIA. SHE LOVED THE NORTH HOWEVER, IT WAS COOL.

No doubt as per the most of the people india is best. if want to get the information for travel I think nothing is better than north India.

In my opinion even most of the Gods and Goddess has remained in the lap of Himalyas. you feel like heaven in the himachal, Kashmir, Rohtang, Mc.Leodganj are least to say.

I like to be there.North is the place having all the Weathers in it be it warm, cool, shivering cold.

North India, Where Himalaya lies is the best. It is all because of Himalayas, the highest, longest and largest.
But south is next, than east and west but central is not worst.
