Hi , Kerala is the best place to spend ur honeymoon. I spend my honeymoon in kerala.We stayed in Munnars " Tall trees resort"
. Its a very b'ful resort and the service is good there.
You can even hire bicyles and go for a ride with your wife around the place.

From there travel to Kumarakom - "Kumarakom lake resort" is the best resort , located next to a lake and they even take u in an evening cruise for sunset views with indian classical music .Evenings u can view kathakalis at the resort and variety food and entertainement or just lay by the pool.

From there u can take a speed boat and stay in a House boat for a day .The house boat is really romantic and its stopped in middle of the water and the food served in the house boat is proper kerala food.You just can never forget the taste.

u can visit cochin finally and go through churches and purchase good tea bags.

ALL THE BEST ..Hope u have a wonderfull honeymoon.Kerala always stays in your memory .

Go to Wayanad a hill and forest resort. Good for especially newly weds. To get more info. please visit keralatourism websites. No trains in Wayanad district, so you have to disembark at Calicut if you are travelling by Train. Nearest airport is also Calicut.

There is Aleppi which has beautiful back waters...Kumarakkam,Munnar,tekadi,Ernaku... is also good...have a nice time...

If you are not a Keralite do not risk with Kerala. Yes it is God's own country but even God goes for his holiday else where.

Remember Language n hospitality both are a problem..... After all a honeymoon is supposed to be a time to know each other n not get hasseled by the poters....

trust me ur best bet for a wonderful honeymoon is Goa.... the people r warm n it beats Kerala 1 to 1m as a holiday destination....
