(i)Philosophy
India is the cradle of several religions of the world. Mention may be made of Hinduism -- the oldest philosophy (not a religion) on life; Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and hundreds of beliefs of the millions of people that dwell in this fantastic area called India.
This cosmopolitan nature has made the Indians generally more humble, and tolerant towards fellow human beings.

India is one place on earth where you can have a feel of all the climatic regions on earth. India has deserts, tundra-type of regions, barren lands, monsoon washed plains, rivers -- perennial as in those in north and NE India and also the seasonal ones as in those in South India; coasts (over 7000 kilometres), natural hot springs, gurgling streams and tropical as well as deciduous forests.
