you have direct buses from cmbt in koyambadu to thennagur which is 109 k.m. from chennai and it take 3 hours journey.
the route no 148, 104 go directly to thennagur . all the wandwashi bus which go through uttermerrur will go to thengur. you have every 15 minute a bus to wandwashi via uttermerur from cmbt . just ask the conductor or driver whether this bus go via uttermeruur to wandwashi. it is just 6 k.m. before wandwashi.
