Me & my boyfriend are thinking of going on holidays to India. We want to go when its hot so we can visit the lovely beaches. Can anyone recommend the best time of year and the best places to go?? u can try some international tour operators like cox and kings, Thomas cook travels, SOTC tours. They all have websites which u can google. Feb -march is ideal, since after that climate becomes unbearably hot with temp in north india like delhi recording 45 degrees celsius, and even the beaches of goa would be very hot. Normally the best climates are in september /october when the weather is not too cold or hot.
its always better u go thru a tour operator, since most people get cheated right from the airport customs officials to the cab drivers and everybody. Better opt for the tour operator to have an airport pickup. And be careful of yr cash and credit cards ( even when u leave it in yr hotel rooms) , since theft and cheating runs in every indians blood.
