This saturday, I'm going to Shimla (India). Can some one guide me abt the places which i need to see?

I'm going along with 2 of my colleagues from old delhi at 10.20 pm on Friday night. What abt troy train there adn accomodation. Thank u.,

There are toy trains running
between Kalka Station and Shimla.

These trains leave for Shimla on
arrival of the trains from other
places.

It seems that your train is Kalka Mail.

It reaches early morning.

Get tickets and get in to the
unreserved bogey and get
window seats. They are easily
available.

You can enjoy the entire route
and small halts at various stations,
for snacks.

At shilma, you can get a hotel
accomodation at a discount(upto 50%)
during these days, due to off season.

The places to be seen:

The Ridge, scandal point.
The Lower and Upper Bazaar,
The lift for going down and up,
The Lakkar Bazaar.
The Kali Baari ( cheap accomodation
available) and a good place.
Jakhu Temple

AND around Shimla:
Sanjoli Tunnel while going to Kufri.
Kufri a wonderful high altitude tourist
spot with a wonderful ZOO(snow leopard
can be seen there)
Golf Course at Naldera
Tatta Pani( Hot spring water running
in to the river Satluj)
Summer Hill

I don't know about train, but as far as staying is concerned just book hotel rooms at www.himachalhotels.com. Their rooms are quite good and affordable.

Places in Shimla :- Kufri, Jakho temple, Mall Road.

You need to see only what you desire, so take it easy and enjoy the trip. Hope it is claer so you have good senic view.

Nothing in shimla i think u have to go kulu manali is best there u seen many thing but shimla is only hill station and u not found there snow also kulu nad manali near from shimla
