Coorg or Chikmagalur - coffee estates, where living with the people who own the estates is the best place to be.
In other words the western ghats.
North - Kulu/Manali and Dharasalam
South - Kerela its Spice Village , Palace hotel in the centre of the lake and the hill resort Munnar. Also Kodaicanal near Madurai in Chennai. |

I lived in Chennai, and it is a great experience of south India, also Kerela is beutiful, I spent some time in Agra, Jaipur, Khajarao and Varanasi - this is where you can experience the awesome Ganges. As a tip, my friends in Chennai used to say to me "do you know why we like you? Because you came to India and it wasn't to go to GOA!!" (Nuff said). |
