Vacation in Kerela or Goa, which do you suggest?

Personally I think Kerala definitely beats goa.
Consider the following -
Kerala offers rich green natural beauty with backwaters and houseboat stays - a full day staying eating and living in the luxury of an A/C house on water is like a dream coming true - well that is what it is like staying in a houseboat and cruising the palm and coconut fringed backwaters. Then the raw beauty of calm seas with beaches of Kerala, and of course the tea estates, cardomom plantations in the hill stations of Munnar, the wildlife in Thekkady and then the Kathakali and Kalaripayattu. the ancient temples of Guruvayoor and Chottanikara and Mahadeva temples of vaikom and ettumnoor. what else could one want and all this could be covered in about 5-6 days. the state is small but bestowed with all this and hence called " God's own country". :-)

If ur looking for family vacation than i suggest you Kerela coz u don't know that after 10 min what ur eyes is going to see in GOA ...(my personal experience in GOA)...if ur going with friends and u want to enjoy disco ,drinks than i will suggest you GOA ..but if u like nature ,birds,silence,trees,south indian dishes and most important that ur going with ur family than u can go to kerela.....

Both Keral and Goa are very good tourist places .I prefer GOA in wild life
think people visit goa to see only temple ,sea beach ,church ,good food ,fenny but real Goa lies in wild life ,There are 4 to 5 wild life sanctuaries which I am sure if you spend a night will never be forgotten

for great vacation you enjoy it in Kerla because of various activities like good large temple ,beaches,sight scene etc.offcourse in Kerla you may face some language problem but overall it would be a great place.

I think Keral is good for vacation, as has beaches, mangrooves, rivers and famous places to see also.

if ur family has a spirit to wake all night.. dance and then GOA is a better option with beaches & palm trees
but if they are much more calm and love temples and peace then KERELA is a better option where there is a lot of greenery

i advice u to ask the locals about places to visit.. i've never been t any of the places so can't suggest u smthing else something

Hi friend...I think Kerala Will be nice..there is alot of greenery there...its almost filled with trees..long and tall trees....you can feel the nature in its best moods there....Also,as you are going for a family tour small lil kids as well as repected elder people both will enjoy equally and would love to take in the aroma of fresh water and also would enjoy drinking coconut water:)...its full fun there....

Well Goa is renowned for it's beaches, and churches, resorts and stuff like that. So if you are looking for those kinds of activities than Goa is the place to be.

Kerela is famous for it's lush green jungles, and it's water falls, and other natural sceneries. Kerela is also famous for it's spices. So you might be able to see some spice jungles, and stuff like that. Also Kerela also has those famous boat races in which the boats are like 100 ft long, and just a couple of feet wide, and go very fast. I do not know what they are called.

Kerala is more versatile! Whatever Goa can offer plus! What makes Kerala more attractive are the temples, elephants, variety in food, both veg and non-veg, and perhaps range of budgets for the visiting people! Good vacation!

Well kerala and Goa, both are the best location to visit in india, as per my advice you can go for Kerala or Goa depends on the days you wana spend. in case you are going for short holiday i will suggest you Goa and if you have a weeks times to spend then kerala is best place to visit, why? the simple answer is that, kerala has Hill station, munnar, Backwaters in kumarakom and Beach site location kovalam, covers these location with thekkedy if you are interested in Birds
