Well , I don't understand why people spreading rumors like that and some people listen that rumors and cancel our plans. Now these days each or every place should be safe. Our Government has try to get more security to our tourist spot. For my point of view both are the safer places.

If you have make some planning to visit there so i would suggest you that you go feel free..
