What are Indian baby names that are easy for americans to pronounce and spell?

I am looking for boy and girl names. My husband is from India and I am from US. We live in US but would like to give baby Indian name as long as it will be functional in US. For example, Hubby's name is Sidharth but goes by Sid. Easy in India and Easy in US.

First of all, congratulations! One option for you is to have an Indian name that, with a few tweaks, can become an American name. For example, Meghna can become Meghan. You can also try a simple Indian name, from websites like

http://www.indiaparenting.com/names/index.shtml
http://www.indiaexpress.com/specials/babynames/
http://www.nriol.com/babynames/

I suggest that you try something that has a straightforward meaning in English, so that when they ask you or someone else asks them what their name means, it is easy for them. Congratulations again!
