Well...i've been living in kerala all my life and i've travelled around the state quite a bit....the traditional places to visit wud be kovalam beach & varkala beach near trivandrum, kumarakom backwaters in kottayam, munnar (hill station)....so on...also try houseboating in alappuzha(the venice of the south)...visit mattanchery , the jewish settlement...try visiting wayanad, one of the last remaining virgin tropical rainforests in india...in kozhikode u can visit the beach where vasco do gama landed & also the Bakel fort(featured in many bollywood , kollywood, tollywood and mollywood songs)...kerala's almost the perfect tourist destination... |
