i have seen alot of places in n.india +i watch lot of discovery t&l and i think the real good ones are-dharamshala/mc leod ganj...great treks there good authentic international food,nice markets nicer people. peaceful and beautiful landscapes.then there is rajasthan mount abu, jaiselmer,jaipur udaipuretc.etc.then there is nanital and darjeeling,haridwar and surrounding area.ofcourse shimla,barog,manali...if u wanna go further... shrinagar, leh.
leh is a lovely place sooooooooo untouched n beautiful. it has got a mountain of every possible color , and sangam is so beautiful between rivers zanskar and indus, monasteries monks -its so lovely.but i know i am still missing a lot of places may be u can find out for me?

go to the state of himachal pradesh, especially the towns of manali and dharamsala. beautiful towns in the himalaya.

There are a number of tourist places in North India worth visiting like Shimla, Mussorie, Nainital, Kullu Manali, Dalhousie, Agra and last but not the least you can spend whole week in vibrant Rajasthan visiting places like Jaipur, Udaipur etc. If you intend to go for pilgramage, visiting Maa Vaishno Devi shrine will be worthwhile.
