1. Woodlands Drive - in - TTk Toad Naradagana Sabha
2. Rathna cafe (Triplicane & Tnagar neat TTD)
3. Mummy's Off Venkatanarayana road (Corner shop) near dollar shp, neat TTD - You get authentic home food here. Try thier different varieties. try Kal dosa, Nei Podi, Normal, Set dosa etc..
4. Nei Podi (Ghee & spicy powder) Dosa in Keiyendhi Bhavan (Road side) in Tnagar neat brilliant tutorials
5. Data Udupi hotel ( West Mambalam near duraisamy subway, Kodambakkam under the flyover, KK Nagar etc..)
6. Hotel Maris - Cathedral road
7. Woodslands drive-in in cathedral road.
8. Murugan Idli Kadai (GN Chetty Road/Besant Nagar)
9. Vasantha Bhavan (Again many places, Numgambakkam)
10. Hotel Palimar (Neat Gemini Signal)

I'm not too fond of Saravana bhavan & Sangeetha as I find thier prices steep, portion size miniscule but they dont taste bad either! Location all over the city!
