Dont you think you will have to decide for your self?
Ok the ideas are great but what do you like? Are you a city boy or a recluse?
Do you like nature and cool temperatures?
Can you do without heating or would you like to live in a natural sauna?
India has a lot. From snow peaked mountains to warm beaches.
From natural forest surroundings to desert like areas.
From palaces to single room accomodations.
A lot depends on what you like and what the pocket and the mind can afford. Dont you think you should have given a little more explanation as to what you are looking for?
Oh I forgot discos and night life. Then you have to live in a city. |

Delhi - the place where i was born and brought oup. Stayed for over 40 years before opting to stay outside of India bec. of other compulsions. I love the place and have plans to settle down after my retirement. |

Fisrt let me take the sourthern India
* If weather conditions must be favourable then I would definitely make myself comfortable in Coimbatore.
* If you like to visit a lot of places then I would prefer Chennai
* If industrious then go for Bangalore.
Now northern India
* If climatic conditons then Darjeeling would be the ideal place.
* If industrious then Mumbai.
* If much of tourism then go to Delhi for you have lots of monuments and forts to be visited in and around Delhi for it has been the capital for most of the ancient Indian kings. |
