a bowl of rice, which for the poor ,is enough. about 80 rupees to the uk pound. 2 dollars to the uk pound, or there abouts. sad isn't. when we compere the luxuries that 5 rupees might or not buy us. to the luxury of having a full stomach. some kids in India have never tasted chocolate/chewing gum. to some kids, they might not get a beating for bringing home 5 rupees, he has earned his keep, so do not be so flippant with your answers.
