What church do a Christian Woman & Muslim Man marry in...?

If not a church can a Justice of Peace marry them and is it a difficult procedure....once married can he stay in USA with wife...?Is there a time limit on how long he can stay...He is from Bangladesh..
Additional Details
OMG....!!! The man is from BANGLADESH...that IS NOT a rogue or terrorist nation...!! Bangladesh just achieved the Noble Peace Prize for Peace...so read your news or better yet..watch the news..Bangladesh is a South Asian Country..not a Middle Eastern Country...USA is in Good Standing with Government of Bangladesh...Bangladesh offered their army/military to help USA if we need help in Iraq...or any place else so get ahold of yourself....this man is a gentle Muslim...not a Radical Islamic Terrorist..!!! There is a big difference so don't be hating on something you are closed minded about...It just shows your ignorance...!! We are all Children of the Same God...!!!

This is a difficult situation because the man is not a US citizen. I do believe that you can get married by a Justice of Peace however because the man is not a citizen other government agencies would be involved. Go to the US Embassy of Bangladesh website and see what it says about their nationals getting married in the USA. You may also want to contact them to get precise information.

According to Christian law, a christian may marry a person of any other religion in the Church itself without that person being converted to christianity, but provided the couple-to-be married takes a solemn oath before God and Church that their children will be brought up under the Christian faith. If the couple wishes that their children should not become christians, they may get married elsewhere like in a marraige bureau and could thus obtain their marraige license from there instead.
Now as far as the laws of the country are concerned, the united states provides citizenship to a married man's wife if and only if the man is an american citizen.
In your case, it is the other way round. It is difficult (but not impossible) to secure citizenship for a married woman's husband (regardless of the man's religion) if the woman is an american citizen. However, you may still seek legal opinion on this matter and plan your future course of action from there.

I know a couple of Christians Married to Muslims In India. They Register their marriage at the office of registrar of Marriages.About whether the husband can stay with his wife ....of course he can.Americans are against terrorists not a country or a community
As to how long he can stay depends on the kind of Visa he has been issued.
And Since its neither in a church or a Mosque it give both parties the liberty of following their religion and custom

Anyone who is qualified and agrees with the ceremony can marry you in the eyes of god. But to get a marriage license all you have to do is apply and pay for it, this can be done in your local registrar's office, I believe.

As for his rights to stay in the country, if you are an American citizen I believe he becomes a naturalized citizen and has the right to stay in the country indefinitely.

I think most Protestant churches will marry non-christians.

But you don't need a church to get married just got to the city/county and get the licence. You go before the justice, then he will ask you if you want to get married right away and they will marry you or you can say you want to wait for a religious ceremony.

Each state may have different requirements but you should be able to go to your state/county/city web site and get more information.
You will need birth certificates and stuff like that but it is very easy to do.

Once an 'alien' marries a US citizen a green card is pretty much automatic. Then after 5 years he can become a citizen.

Good luck.

it's not a difficult procedure in general - the legal marriage is the same independent of faiths. you have to get a marriage license, the prerequisites differ from state to state, but nationality is not one of them generally. if you want to have a ceremony you have to shop around for an officiant who does interfaith marriages - a lot do, it depends where you are located at how common or uncommon that is. as far as the legal aspects of staying in the us, if everything is properly done, there are no time limits, because your spouse will receive a green card, which has to be applied for. if your spouse to be is in legal status in the us right now, there should not be any problems, and i would advise to contact a lawyer. if he is not in the country yet, but flying in for the marriage, he is supposed to apply for a fiancee visa from his home country. for the details of your specific legal situation - the safest is to contact a lawyer.

We don't want any Muslim people here, make her move to Bangladesh.Ya ya who cares, I know who bombed the World Trade Center--Muslims. It has nothing to do with the country you are from! Duh! They live here, France, Asia, everywhere so that doesn't matter. And, ALL countries should have offered aid, and provided it, how may soldiers from Bangladesh are in Iraq right now saving the world from this Islamic threat? Maybe YOU should be more educated than the person you are pathetically attempting to put down. God Bless you-- and in case you are wondering, I wasn't talking about Allah.
