The types of devastations that Mumbai witnessed on 7/11/2006 is just one of the thousands of incidents India has gone through. Though staying in the US we get to see and hear only what the media portrays and as mentioned in http://ia.rediff.com/news/2006/jul/12nri.htm?q=tp&file=.htm , not much we can do about it sitting here; one thing that I have decided is to stop spending any of my money at any Pakistani restaurant/store which would potentially aid the ruthless acts. May be my I am very critical in my comments and I am not sure how helpful my resolution would be for the cause I have in mind; but I shall certainly not be the NRI who thinks "There is nothing I can do, and it hurts"

What can one think? My family is safe, my friends are, yet hundreds are dead! It will never end...we got to be ready for it. Yet I am moved by the power of the city, as it moves between the thin ice of surviving and being counted, till the marginality of life screws you again! But as a friend says, don't be scared, be angry, be very angry!
By the way where do you stop traveling to - New York, London, and every corner of the Earth... How long can you stay scared of the terrorists |

Terrorism in its worst form. Targeting innocent people world over!
There could be different opinions among folks and interests, Let us not jump onto conclusions to suit one's thinking and approach.
Mumbai will be back to normal and the sinister designs of the frustrated minds killing innocents won't succeed and they will loose support, even from within, for whatever cause they are doing so. |

It is strange but such questions cannot be answered with out an opinionated bias. Sorry if any one is feeling hurt but the fact remains that though the people who organised the blasts stand to gain nothing the politics of the country will surely use it to twist a few arms.
Yes it is a terrorist attack. But my personal opinion is that the Right wing Hindu Political outfits are at it again. They are the ones who were in Gujarat n now in Bombay. They stand to benefit the most (politically) from such acts. Now the next elections will be won by them and they will decelerate the speed at which India is catching up with the rest of the world.
One more thing….Bombay is back on its feet and so don’t worry about traveling to India… |

It is very unfortunate and heart breaking.
We are all with all the families suffred.
But do not come to stupid conclusions like 'Don't visit India'
Take heart from those hundreds who resumed life like normal by the next monring visiting the same stations and using the same trains.
As a coward you die a hundred deaths sitting at home. |

It was one of the most unhuman acts on planet earth . Whatever the reasons no body has the right to take lives of innocent people . Its high time the politicians stop blaming each other and start working for the good of The Nation . I'd say it would help if they could just close their F***ing mouth and let others do thier business .
The B**T**Ds who did this thing are going to pay heavily for this . They will have to suffer greatly . We will avenge Blood with Blood and Life for Life . Gandhi's principle is no longer applicaple to this situation coz Gandhi never thought such a think will ever happen to his nation . NON-VIOLENCE spells to Terrorists as COWARDICE |
