1.A place for more than 3 millions people of different religion.
2.A thousand of different species animals home .
3.world largest democracy .
4.we feel Cricket that's why :sachin is our god and cricket is our religion ".
5.More than 200 different languages are spoken in india .
6.A place where different environment is available some where it 's cold ,some where it is hot .
7.The holy Ganges river is in our country.
8. our country has 3rd largest army in Asia .

it is a great place to travel. especially because it is enriched with culture and history. but only travel if you are accustomed to indian food (spices) and don't mind the heat and crowd in the summer. it is better in the winter, because it is not so hot then.

I've never been to India, but here's what I know about it. It's a very diverse country of over one billion people. There are hundreds of languages spoken,all religions practiced by one group of people or another, a mix of the old and new, and a diversity of scenery-mountains,deserts,jungles,beache... farmland. India has a lot of poor people but a rapidly growing middle class. It's developing very rapidly. The food is good but spicy.The people are friendly,modest,and well educated. Definitely go to the Taj Mahal if you go.

A good friend of mine in college went there for the summer in 1990, and he loved it.

Something for everyone, heritage for the history lovers, clubs for the party crowd, international cuisine in all budget for the foodies, modern architecture for the design fanatics, good nightlife in certain cities for the night persons, wildlife for the safari seekers, beaches for the tan seekers, mountains for the hikers. That's about all I could come up right now.
