wow.. people who probably have never been to India, never personally known an Indian ... never really visited a indian home giving their impression of India :)
well for me India is -
Diverse - lots of languages, very different and tasty food ( we don't bathe in curry :) ) , every state has a different kind of traditional way of clothing, lot of different festivals.
Colourful - Colourful clothes, colourful movies, colorful houses! :) We even have a festival of colours - Holi! where we literally drench in colours!
Poor country with wealthy people - we have a lot of poverty but still have maximum import of Gold :) people come from very different social classes. There is a vast diffrence in the living standard in Indian people.
Hard working and honest and helpful people! - Yes.. we may not be the best dressed/ best mannered as per the foreign concept of these.. but we are intelligent people, who are hard working.... very very hardworking. And always very helpful.
Monsoons! - The monsoon rains are the most romantic season in India! I miss it very much now that I'm in USA.
Can't wait to go back to my country!
