Hi,
I have recently got an NGO registed. U will have to go to Udyog Sadan in Patparganj. The address is: 419, Udyog Sadan, FIE, Patparganj Industrial Area, Delhi 92. Be sure to carry all the relevant documents like Memorandum of Association, identity details of the Board of members etc. If you do not have all this, catch hold of one of the agents there, they will prepare all the documents for you. It is very convenient to work with these agents. They will normally ask you for a rate, for example Rs. 5,000/- (do negotiate) which has a cut for all the people who need to pass your file in order to get the NGO registered. The normal cost (prima facie) for this is Rs. 50/-. But it just wont work and your file is bound to get stuck for ages. You should have your certificate in anything between 3 to 10 days. Which is not all that bad!
