Lipitor, along with diet and exercise, helps lower your cholesterol and also reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with multiple risk factors for heart disease including family history, high blood pressure, age, low HDL ("good" cholesterol), or smoking.
My dad takes it, and I've heard that the serius side effects are liver problems.. I would be very careful, I would rather stick to diet and exercise.. |
