In my opinion, i like the Roti Pratha. Of course there is also the good ol Samosa. Or samosa with chana. Masala dosa is another good one. These are all vegetarian by the way
Two meat dishes i enjoy are:
Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Masala.
However, the "best" food is hard to say because the Northern and Southern Indian food differ a lot. Overall, I prefer the South because it's more spicy
