South India is a splendid place to spend your travel time....It has four states and each one enthrills travelers with its unique heritage and natural resources. Even a weeks time wont be sufficient to view one state.

Lots of good places, actually! Lonavala and Matheran, for ex.! Go to north just before winter, or, just after! South (Kerala! Coorg! Goa!), in winter season: hill stations in summer, both in the south and north! There are forest-river combinations for all seasons (except perhaps in monsoons, if you don't like rains!), in most parts of India: and some lovely beaches in Kerala, Chennai, Goa! So much variety, beauty and fun: good place, India! |
