evidently avoid rainy season (monsoon) between July - Sept and avoid summer April - June, Other months are Okay.
But the best months would be Sept to Dec .
Jan Feb could be chilly but not in comparison to Europe or Canada.
March (spring) is fine too. |

I would say sometime in the "spring" would be best, but really any time from November- April. Winter is not bad either.
The reason I say this is because
1. The summer is SWELTERING hot, almost unbearable to foreigners so the Taj probably wouldn't be too enjoyable. Plus there are lots of tourists at this time of year.
2. The fall can be nice but the weather is very on-off and it is often known as the monsoon season. So you may get stuck in a big rainstorm and that would not be fun.
3. Winter is okay, the only problem is that lots of people come during "Christmas Vacation". It can also be a little rainy and smoggy. The temperature is fairly nice, but I live in Southern India so when I visited in January it was too chilly for me! Coming from New England though I know that it's really not bad. Couldn't have been less than 60 degrees farenheit I think.
Anyways, enjoy your trip! The Taj Mahal is really cool and totally worth it. You should also check out The Red Fort while you're in Delhi. |

October to March is the best time to visit Taj Mahal. You can also get more details about Taj Mahal from the given site. |

Seems Taj Mahal keeps changing with the seasons as well as during day and night.
Anytime is great but period after monsoon is great as everything is lush green around Taj and Taj looks fresh.
Avoid winters as lots of fog and smog does not offer as clear view as you wish. |

India does not have seasons, even though it officially does its pretty sunny all year round. but it gets rainy during the months of winter.
so you should probably visit during summer or spring for some mild weather. |
