Incompetent and corrupt politicians are the root cause of all problems in India. The political system here is just rotten to the core, a closed-circle self-sustaining mafia-like class that keeps the nation hostage since decades. Democracy in India is limited to vote for the same evil in just different flavours.
India urgently needs some kind of super-Obama to tear down all current political structures and re-build governance and administration from scratch. There are many bright and talented people in India, how about bringing them into government for a change? So sad there is no reason to hope that would ever happen here in India. Its a hydra, too many people in power profit from the system so that a change is not in sight. A revolution? India is too segmented, it is no homogenous society and there is very few solidarity as every group just looks after its own interests. In one word, it's - hopeless. |

Infrastructure. The lack of infrasturcture like good highways, airports, ports, and railways will inhibit the growth for that country. As a result, it will take longer for the country to develop and improve its standard of living. It can take 6-7 hours to travel by car for just 200 miles. Why would want to locate a factory there?
India has tremendous brain power, but this might hold India back. |
