Competion is building up, no doubt. But the future belongs to LCCs. The new players waiting to take off are LCCs, a high number of international low-fare carriers are flying into India, LCC captains are fighting for low cost airports.....airports where there are no fancy buildings, no retail malls but essentially a decent runway and necessary security arrangements. Best of all is the high-time flyers get which is sustaining the entire LCC revelution

So, in future, it may bring down the cost of other airlines too.

low cost airlines have a bright future..cause india has a lot of passengers available who need air travel but cant afford to do so....and thus has a wide future scope for profits....and ofcourse with some required clever marketing plan to attract that sector in india that can really pay for the travel...they can earn high profits.
but there arechallenges too...like high fuel costs and maintenance cost....but they can be faught with clever planning

It is a ever expanding market. But difficult for the Low-cost airlines to sustain if they operate only on leased aircraft.
