It depends on how you measure it. The tallest mountain in the world measured from sea level is Mt. Everest at 29,028 feet. The tallest measured from the center of the Earth is Chimborazo in the Andes at 20,561. The tallest measured from the sea floor (base of the mountain to peak) is Mauna Kea in Hawaii at 33,476 with only 13,796 is above sea level.

In India...It should be Kanchenjunga in the Himalaya Range........but the highest in the World is Mount Everest.
