What is the life of flat in apartments in places like Bangalore / Hyderabad? What is the life in years(aprox.)?
It depends on the land the appartment constructed on. If it is a leased land, the life of that flat should be that many years.
If it is Outright sale, then it's for ever, unless the govt. acquires the land for some development by offering right compensetion.

Normally it is taken for granted that if the apartment complex is constucted by a good builder using good material then should should last for a minimum 50 years. Nothing can be said in case of natural calamities because even a new building could come down because of it.

In any place it all depends on how it has been constructed. Normally flat build by a good builder will last for a minimum of 40 to 50 years.
