I have travelled alone from Vasco to Kachiguda on 9.4.2006. As I am a member of IRFCA, it was not a difficult job for me to spend 210 minutes in Guntakal Railway Station.

Unfortunetely, as the guys have been telling you there are no direct train from Goa to Hyderabad. You can take the 7228-Vasco-da-Gama --Vijaywada express from vasco-da-Gama station that runs on Thurs, Sat, Sun and Mon from Vasco. then you will have to change train at Guntakal.

There is a train called the yeshwantpura express that leaves from the Kachiguda station in Hyderabad and goes to Vasco in Goa.
