the essence of india lies in its culture that has been shaped in large parts by hinduism (but also by other religions). kashi also known as varanasi personifies this chaotic, deep, peaceful, overwhelming, dirty, pure, confusing, simple, sacred........ hindu tradition. it follows, my friend, that this is the "must experience" place in india. slowly soak it in and it will dwell in you forever.

well......i would say taj mahal but its more feeling than the actual thing.....when i went this year, it didn't seem that cool cause im only a teen and it doesnt really mean much to me...but if its a couple then its probably more sentimental and it would be like the number 1 spot....other than tat all of india is beautiful....no matter where u go make sure u go to the smaller villages cause the peace and traditon and beauty there can not be replicated by cities

the himalayas. manali used to be a great place to view them from but it sounds too touristy now. to see those mountains is something very special. i spent 18 months in the mountains there, at manali and nepal.
bhubwaneswar (wrong spelling i'm sure) for the temples. lots of other favourite spots but i'll leave it at those.
