India's reputation around the world is very high.
Our culture is very rich!
The economy is booming
tourism is at a peak.
It will take a while for India to get up to a standard like USA or the UK but India is still getting there, and there has been a vast improvement in the past decade.

Spine-less, cowardly (why let criminals and terrorists walk free, put up with rogue nations' outrageous activities)

Slavish mentality, white-skin worshipers

Ill-mannered, extremely rude, impolite - at all and more so at clerical levels

Can not tell you how it hurts to hear these things. I live outside of India and I hear them all the time.
And its hard to defend. How do you defend a man defecating in full view by the railway tracks to a horrified visitor?

This is the good topic for discussion. We cant' say anything about this because every man have there own thinking but truth is that India is the best country in few things for example our culture, festivals, Holy places, education, tourist places etc. But if we will talk about the system, discipline and other things then we will find that we are not good in all these things yet.

i have never travelled outside india, but i think the reaction is mixed . also , some americans consider indians as job-stealers .

and dont compare india with china . china is far ahead . maybe after a decade or two india will reach china's current level .

I guess it depends on where you live. But it is the largest democracy on the planet and for the most part very friendly to outsiders. I think it has a very positive reputation outside of maybe China.

India is part of G 20 nation and the biggest Democracy in the world. It participate in G 8 nation and have the reputation as the finest country to live

Very much improved compared to some 10 years back.Along with China it is considered as a potential Super Power of the future.

As far as National Security is concerned, India is not Having stubborn Policy
