its the time of the year when the monsoon rains USUALLY ends..it all depends on when the rain actually started..if it started later than usual, then the rain might stay till the end of september..but usually, mid-september/october is a very pleasant time to visit kerala..its not too hot, yet not too cold either...the temps. around mid 80's-low 70's..by the time its mid-october, the temps usually go up a bit to around the high 80's, but the low temps drop down to abt the mid 60's in most of kerala...september is also onam season..its the harvest festival in kerala..this year its is september 11-13 or sumthing like that..its different evry year..its usually very pleasant during this time..for some reason, most of the people tend to be relaxed and happy during this time...just like during the christmas time..i've lived in kerala for 10 years..so i should know all this...during the mid-september/october time, you'll really enjoy kerala..unless there happens to be a strike evryday..well, hope you enjoy it in kerala when you go there :)

Spetember is a best time to be in kerala, its the time of Onam- The harvest festival of kerala, You could witness lots of activities all over kerala, and you can taste delicious OnaSadhya - A special Kerala Meal.
But the peak tourist season starts from October to February, the beaches will be fully occupied with foreign travellers during this time. I think only sun bathers prefer this time.
The climate really pleasant.. By October little of cold breeze you can experience. Enjoy ur stay

Hi there,
I suggest you to do the same on first week of Sept.itself for a better Holiday Deal as it would be the end of Off season
Hill stations, Serine backwaters, Fine beaches...........that would be the ideal choice.
Please send your preferred travel date and your travel plan to southerntoursindia@gmail.com
We will definitely work out and send you the best deal for the same that no one can match for the same.
Cheers,
Leo
