I did not know there were kinds of Indians.Is there such a thing as Banglorean Indian, Punjabi Indian or Madrasi Indian ? Either you are an Indian or not an Indian irrespective of which state you belong. I was born in Bombay. They call it Mumbai these days.I am a Sindhi and the fact that we are stateless I call myself an Indian not a Bombayite or a Mumbaikar. I definitely can't claim to be a Maharashtrian. I can appreciate why you can call yourself a Maharashtrian.
