What makes the people of India different from the rest of the world? ?

Indians have never invaded any country.
Indian history has no dictators like Hitler or Napoleon.
WE ARE PEACE LOVERS AND RESPECT HUMANITY.
We have such a rich history-------we have UPNISHADS, VEDAS, GURU GRANTH SAHIB.
VEDAS and UPNISHADS are thousands years old.
We have so many relegions.
Great preachers like Guru Nanak, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Vivekanand, Dayanand Saraswati etc.
The thing that makes us different is that we never under-estimate others. I mean that we never try to show others 'low'.
I will not mention but there are many other counteries which pretend themselves to be very superior.
Indian children love their parents and parents too love their children.
We have a respect of relation and a limit.
We never cross that limit.

The rest of the world has a "give and take" mentality....Whereas Indians only have a "give and give" mentality...What I mean is that Indians are one of the most unselfish and altruistic people in the world.

I so totally disagree with that guy.......Y do people come to judgements based on just a few bad examples? The plight of women in India is much better than it is in some other countries......I think its our Indian culture and ethics which makes us so different...... We are people who still follow age old customs and traditions.......So we might be a little orthodox and conservative.......But we definitely are not how that guy describes us.....Atleast we dont go around wearing micro mini skirts and showing our body to the whole world like in some other countries!!!!!

Maybe India isn't so so so different! But their food is HOT!!! Chilli Chilli Chilli... that is what Indian food i like! :-)

they are not different. as regards language, cultural traditions, dress, literature, every country has some peculiarities.

i dont think india is different from the rest of the world

or maybe it is just because you have different skin colour, have too many people living in a small area and you eat very different food from all other countries like mostly all your food is chilli or has to be with chilli

my dad is sri lankan so i dont see why people would say that india is different
