Given some of the questions and answers here (especially about marriage and the prima nupta), I get the impression that Indian women are very conservative. They are very religious and generally save themselves for marriage. They are also very respectful of their families and respect the decision of their father.

Some people think that Indian women are MISS WORLD and some people think that they are hardworking carrier oriented ladies :) and few think that they are housewives who prefer to stay at home and cares for the family:)

They have so many different faces. Mother, Prime Minister, Miss Universe, Actress, Housewife and somebody who works in a BROTHEL...

Cheers

ok to the first guy Indian women don't cover their faces at least not the majority which is Hindu.
Before i visited India this last summer i felt sorry for them because of the hole arranged marriage thing. I felt they were trapped and sad. Then i interacted with men and women and it is nothing like that. Some people may not like the custom but the majority approve. There is even a section in the paper for finding brides and grooms and they match your horascope. You still have the final say. They don't really get to know him but they have some input. Also Indian women are really beautiful. I respect them very much

Some are very pretty. They need to dress to fit the country they are living in and show their pretty face if they have one.

bokojoo
in a male dominated society in india
they are conditioned to be docile and treat their husbands like god, look after kids, wash cloths, cook meals...and split the legs wide open when ever theres an order....
no matter how educated they are...they will always be 2nd ranked to men....very sad.. :(

Other people..... well there are two kind of people , one who think that they know everything abt india (which they dont) other know actually know abt it. Those who dont know consider Indian women to be very narrow minded, conservative, unfriendly and all But yes Those who really know They Know that Indian women's pure heart and their strong will and Morever indian women are known to be most Beautiful women in the world coz of both thier inner and outer beauty (sometimes exceptions are always there, anywhere you go)
