u can stay in any of the 'baghs' (taj property - eg ram bagh palace) or 'vilas' oberoii property eg udaivilas. these are super 5 star luxury properties. besides these most 5 star hotels are expensive. you can fly business class. there are also some cruise options in western india.

where you are willing to spend money, there are many ready to take it!!

India has lots of places to explore and almost all the destinations now have luxurious accommodation. Though the style will differ , In north like Rajasthan and Khajurao you will find palatial style hotels , which are very contemporary from inside .While in South , like Goa you will find Portuguese architecture.

Then there are luxury Trains running both in north and south.

You will need to decide what holiday you are looking at - then there is no dearth of options. ; )
