What sould women wear in Mumbai?
I will be in Mumbai for 4 days in Novemebr. Wondering what is appropriate for women to wear (including shoes) Thanks!
wear pants suits and long sleeve blouses, nothing too tight fitting. any kind of shoes are fine, mostly wear something that's comfortable to walk in. avoid heels.

loose pants, long loose skirt, jeans...anything really. avoid the plundging neckline type outfits and you should be fine.

indian women usually have their shoulders covered and it is hot there so something with short sleeves is fine. the indian women look great in the outfits they wear and you might like to buy yourself one with the long blouse and pants. the colour combinations are always good.sari is a bit restrictive for westerners and if you are only there for 4 days, you want to feel at ease.
sandals are the norm and there is a great variety to choose from, if you want to buy them there. a lot of them are gold or silver and can be very comfortable.

pretty much anything but skirts r really in rite now so try a longer skirt not a mini and DONT wear heels.....my stupidest mistake...they mite get stuck in the dirt or in a crack

Mumbai is a morden city. You can wear any type of clothes you want. See to that you do not wear anything that does not damage your own bueaty or the sentiments of people around you.

you should be fine wearing western clothes if thats what your wondering. but more traditional indian wear would be punjabi suit or sari.
